This Policy applies to the PetForm iOS application, related websites or pages you link from your GitHub repository, and any services that link to this Policy.

3.1 Information you provide

1. Account details such as name, email, and password or credentials provided through Apple or Firebase Authentication.
2. Profile content such as pet names, species, age, notes, metrics and checklists you create.
3. Photos, media, and other files you choose to upload for pet profiles or posts.
4. Support requests and any content you send us by email or through feedback forms.

3.2 Information collected automatically

1. Device and usage data such as device model, operating system, app version, and in-app activity.
2. Diagnostics including crash logs and performance data collected to improve stability.
3. Cookies or similar technologies on web pages you visit that are controlled by PetForm.

3.3 Information from third parties

1. Authentication providers such as Apple or Firebase, which may share a verified identifier and your display name or email after your consent.
2. Analytics and crash reporting vendors that provide aggregated or pseudonymized insights.

4. How we use information

We use your information to:

1. Provide core features of PetForm including account login, pet profiles, and saved metrics.
2. Sync data across devices and back up user content.
3. Improve and secure the app, including debugging, analytics, and preventing abuse.
4. Communicate important updates such as changes to terms or service notifications.
5. Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not use your personal information for targeted advertising.

5. Legal bases for processing

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process personal data under these legal bases:

1. Performance of a contract when we deliver the app you requested.
2. Legitimate interests to maintain and improve security and functionality.
3. Consent for optional features where required, which you can withdraw at any time.

We share information only as described below:

1. Service providers that host, store, analyze, or support the app, for example Apple and Firebase services.
2. Legal compliance and safety when required by law or to protect rights, users, or the public.
3. Business transitions if we undergo a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer. We will notify you of material changes.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy, for the time you keep an account with us, and as required by law. After you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete or de-identify your personal data within 10 years, unless we must retain it to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

8. Your choices and rights

8.1 Controls in the app

1. You can update most profile and pet details in the app.
2. You can request account deletion by emailing waleedraza1211@gmail.com or opening an issue at https://github.com/WaleedaRaza/petform/issues. We will verify your request and process it.

8.2 Privacy rights by region

Your rights depend on your location and may include access, correction, deletion, portability, and the right to object or restrict processing.

1. California: You have rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information.
2. Virginia: You have rights under the VCDPA including access, correction, deletion, portability, and the right to appeal a denial. To appeal, reply to our response with "Appeal" and we will review.
3. EEA, UK, Switzerland: You have rights under GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. You may lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

9. Children's privacy

PetForm is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact waleedraza1211@gmail.com and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

11. International data transfers

If you use PetForm from outside the country where our services or vendors are located, your information may be transferred to and processed in other countries that may have different data protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

12. App permissions

PetForm may request access to certain device features to provide functionality:

1. Camera and Photos for uploading pet images if you choose to do so.
2. Notifications for reminders and updates if you enable them.
3. Location only if you enable features that need it. You can change permissions in iOS Settings at any time.

13. App Store Requirements

For App Store submission, PetForm screenshots must meet the following dimension requirements:

Note: All screenshots must be in these exact dimensions for App Store approval. Screenshots in other dimensions will be rejected.

14. Third-party services

Some features rely on third-party providers. Their use of information is governed by their own policies. Key providers may include:
